Created for Birmingham Royal Ballet in April 2014 as part of the International Dance Festival Birmingham, Kin. sets ten dancers to the four movements of Phil Kline's The Blue Room and Other Stories. Passing between bustling group sections, a solo teetering on the edge and a tender duet, Kin. celebrates the raw kinetics of dance, the virtuosity of the ballet technique and the potential for movement to bring us together in different ways.
